Direct Line had been responsible for installing a phone system at HRD over 10 years ago. This had served its purpose, but fast forward to 2022 and after having a complete overhaul of how our computers work, we went straight back to them to upgrade us.

Flexible working has become the norm these days, helping the team work around childcare issues and COVID etc. The one thing that stopped this being as efficient as it could be, was our phone system. There's nothing worse than having to tell clients that a member of the team isn't available and that they are working from home and will call you back.

After discussing our needs with Adam, he knew exactly what we needed and the order was placed. We can now transfer calls and clients need never know that that the team member is working from home. It begs the question, "why didn't we do this years ago"!

We now have our phone lines with a different provider and even with more phone lines, it's far cheaper too.

We have recently had an overhaul of the company telephone systems across our two offices overseen extremely professionally by Lynne and her team. I had been experiencing a small, niggling problem on my handset during the day before last week's BNI meeting. During the meeting, I brought up my slight issue in a passing conversation with Lynne's colleague and substitute for the day and thought nothing more of it.

Upon my return to the office (just an hour or so later) I was surprised to have already been left a message from a member of Lynne's technical team to call back and sort the issue and within thirty minutes everything had been solved.

I have been so impressed by Direct Line Communication's approach to customer service from the outset; firstly, when the install occurred at the offices so seamlessly and secondly, to have an issue I had only mentioned in passing dealt with so quickly and without having to lift a finger was a level of service that I have rarely experienced.
